As AASC prepares for the FY 2026-27 Area Plan and Budget and obtains public input, we are sharing that the approved FY 2025-26 Area Plan is available for review as well. Appalachian Agency for Senior Citizens will receive public comment on the proposed Area Plan for Aging Services for FY 2026-27. A 30-Day Public Comment Period will begin on Friday, June 26 and end on Sunday, July 26. In addition, a public hearing will be held prior to AASC’s regularly scheduled Advisory Council meeting on Tuesday, July 9 at 12:00 PM. UPDATE:  The submission deadline for bids related to the Home Delivered Meals Program has been extended. The original deadline of May 29, 2026, has been changed to June 5, 2026. All bid submissions must be received by the close of business on June 5, 2026.
