Adult Day Center

Generations at Cedar Bluff is a great place to spend the day. The program provides daytime care for adults who may have dementia, post-stroke disability or other impairments who need assistance and is a unique alternative to help keep individuals at home and involved in the community. It also allows family members to work or take a break from caregiving.

Generations maximizes independence and enhances the quality of life for participants. Older adults and those with disabilities can socialize and enjoy activities.

Skilled staff create individual care plans for participants, who receive recreation, socialization, health monitoring and medication management in a home-like environment. Staff includes a supervisor, activities director, registered nurse and personal care attendants.

Each day, participants are served a USDA-approved breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack.

AASC also operates adult day centers in Falls Mills and Haysi.
