Female/Minority Public Notice
The Tazewell County Board of Supervisors is preparing to carry out the Falls Mills Adult Daycare Project through the use of Virginia Community Development Block, Appalachian Regional Commission, Tobacco Commission, Thompson Foundation, Shott Foundation and Virginia Rural Development Funds
In carrying out this project, the Tazewell County Board of Supervisors will, to the greatest extent feasible, utilize qualified Suppliers that are located within or owned by persons residing in Tazewell County and for the purchase of Construction Materials.
- Additionally, the following contracts and procurements will/may be made:
- Construction and service contracts will likely include: Construction material, Electrical, concrete form work, reinforcement, masonry, miscellaneous metal work, welding, paving and audit of grant funds.
- (b) Materials and supplies likely to be used will be windows, doors, electrical, lumber, sewer line, water line, concrete, stone, asphalt, aggregate, and other general construction materials related to construction of an Adult Daycare Facility.
The Tazewell County Board of Supervisors is soliciting the participation of minority and female owned businesses in carrying out this project. Such business concerns may be included on appropriate bid and procurement lists by submitting a written request within ten (10) days of this notice. Requests should state the name, address, product or services, and how the firm qualifies as a minority or female owned business concern.
Written requests should include name, address, product or service you are interested in. All procurements shall be made on a competitive basis.
