Local Resident Celebrates 100th Birthday
Appalachian Agency for Senior Citizens was honored to celebrate Ms. Ruth Bratton’s 100th birthday. Ms. Bratton lives in Bluefield, VA with her great-grandson, Jeff Adams. When AASC asked Ms. Bratton what her secret to aging so well was she explained, “I have just worked all my life. I’ve canned everything from corn to green beans to beets.”
