Employment Notice

The Tazewell County Board of Supervisors is preparing to carry out the Falls Mills Adult Daycare Project through the use of funding from the Virginia Community Development Block Grant, Appalachian Regional Commission, Tobacco Regional Revitalization Commission, Hugh I. Shott Foundation, Tazewell County Industrial Development Commission Funds, Appalachian Agency for Senior Citizens and Virginia Rural Development Funds. In the implementation of this project the following job types may be available: Equipment Operators, Carpenters, Labors, Concrete Workers, electricians, plumbers and any other job type dealing with Construction of an Adult Daycare Facility.

In carrying out this project, Tazewell County, its Contractors and Sub-Contractors will, to the greatest extent feasible, utilize qualified persons who currently reside within Tazewell County for employment and training positions. All job openings will be listed with the local office of the Virginia Employment Commission. Persons qualified for the jobs listed should register at the following location.

Some possible sub-contracts and materials to be used for this project include: Electrical, Sheetrock, Windows, Doors, Roofing, Stone, Concrete, and other products and services dealing with Construction of an Adult Daycare Facility.

Tazewell County, will, to the greatest extent feasible, use businesses located in and owned by persons residing in Tazewell County.
