PUBLIC NOTICE OF VEHICLES FOR SALE

Four County Transit of the Appalachian Agency for Senior Citizens (AASC) will be accepting sealed bids on vehicles for sale. Bids must be to the attention of Brian Beck, CFO and may be mailed to P.O. Box 765 Cedar Bluff, VA 24609 or hand delivered to the AASC administrative office located in the Wardell Industrial Park, 216 College Ridge Road, Cedar Bluff, VA. Bidders must bid on each vehicle separately. The minimum bid for each vehicle is $7,000. Bidders are instructed to mark on the outside of the envelope “SEALED BID ON VEHICLES” and to indicate inside with their bid price the fleet number of the vehicle they are bidding to purchase and their contact information. All bids must be received no later than 4:00pm, Friday, August 21, 2015. Bids will be reviewed and winning bidders notified on August 24, 2015. Payment must be received and vehicles pick up by Friday, August 28, 2015 or we will move to the next highest bid.
