NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

AASC on behalf of the Tazewell County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on February 17, 2015, at the Town Hall offices in Bluefield, Virginia, to solicit public input on a proposed Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application to be submitted to the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development for the Falls Mills Adult Daycare Center Project. Residents of the project area are encouraged to attend. The Falls Mills Adult Daycare Center Project will include the following activities: Carpentry construction, electrical and concrete workers.

The draft CDBG proposal will be presented for comment along with information on projected beneficiaries, including the number of low-to-moderate-income residents to benefit from the proposed project, and plans to minimize displacement. Citizens will also be given the opportunity to comment on Tazewell County’s past use of CDBG funds.
